The CTS Coupe will be available in both standard and CTS-V, high performance version. The new coupe will be the third edition of the CTS familiy when it joins the current sedan and wagon. The CTS Coupe will be powered by a gasoline direct injected V6 that will deliver 270 HP. The big boy CTS-V on the other hand, will be powered by a 556 HP 6.2 Liter supercharged V8, the same engine that is found in the sedan.

Pictures have been released for Hamann’s tuned version of the BMW 5-Series GT, which was first seen as a concept model last March in Geneva. So far, Hamann has not disclosed what enhancements it has made for the car’s performance but we can clearly see exterior styling changes. Hamann modified the front and rear bumpers, upgraded the brakes and is offering a range of different alloy wheel options. The standard BMW 5-Series GT comes with the choice of a 3.0-litre turbo petrol unit, a 4.4-liter twin turbo petrol or a 3.0-liter turbo diesel. Expect it go on sale later this year.
Italian style and American power -- it's a match made in heaven. The Iso Grifo of the '60s and '70s was birthed from this blissful union, along with more recent collaborations including the Giugiaro Mustang andBertone Mantide. Upstart San Francisco coachbuilder SV Motor Company believes in the formula and and has officially released details of its upcoming 9 Competizione sports car. We previously reported on the car last month, but this is our first look of the Real McCoy. Based on a Corvette C6 and utilizing the LS3 powertrain, the 9 Competizione features Italian-designed carbon fiber bodywork that lowers the curb weight to just 3085 lbs. Performance figures are scarce, but SV claims the car can pull 1.03g and brake from 60-0 mph in 107 ft.
In typical coachbuilt style, the 9 Competizione offers a wide range of personalized options including 25 exterior color choices, multiple wheel options, and several interior colors and materials to choose from. Customers can even pick five different brake caliper finishes. SV has boldly capped production at 1,000 units, and while pricing has not been announced, the company claims the 9 C will cost no more than $100,000.
A couple weeks back we wrote about a chromed-out Audi R8 supercar spotted in the UK which sparked a heated debate on automotive aesthetics. Now a chrome Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster (above) has been seen prowling around London where it's been turning heads to say the least as you can see. The Lamborghini is already eye-popping enough in normal livery for most folk, so the chromed-out version seems designed to scream "Look at me!" And maybe traffic-choked London is simply the wrong setting for this thing - perhaps it could be quite beautiful out on the Bonneville Salt Flats or something - but it seems to me we're straying into Prince of Brothels territory here.
