Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Gullwing leaked before launch
Pictures of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing have been leaked before the car’s official launch at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. Inspiration for the car, of course, came from the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing of the 50s. Power will come from the 6.3-liter V-8 found throughout the AMG line and producing 571 hp..jpg)
We here at Carlyle Motor Club are not big fans of the retro styling of the SLS, but its hard to argue against those performance numbers.

David Kaiser, the same man who brought us images of the Tramontana F1 in full jet fighter camouflage regalia, has struck again with stunning pictures from Lamborghini's launch of the Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni in Zürich, Switzerland. According to Kaiser, this was the third stop of the car's initial European tour following appearances in Paris and Lyon in France. Next, the Italian crew will pack up and take their show on to various locations in the United Kingdom. In case you your memory needs refreshed, the new Lambo was named in honor of the automaker'slongtime test driver.

Featuring a 550-horsepower version of the Gallardo's familiar V10 engine and a comparatively low 3,042-pound curb weight, the rear-drive LP550-2 is reportedly capable of scurrying to 60 in just 3.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 199 mph. Bentley Continental Supersports at Goodwind
At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Bentley unveiled its fastest most powerful road car in its 90 year history in the form of the Continental Supersports. Besides significantly reducing the weight of the existing Continental GT, the Supersports marked the first step of Bentley's move reduce its carbon dioxide emissions, in this case through the use of ethanol as a fuel for the 6.0-liter twelve-cylinder engine.
The Supersports is the first flex-fuel vehicle from the British luxury marque. At this month's Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentley asked repeat Le Mans winner Derek Bell to spend the weekend ferrying lucky passengers up the hillclimb course in a prototype at elevated speeds. While we couldn't be there to experience the ride for ourselves, Bentley has just released the next best thing – a gallery of high-res images and a video that you can check out.
2010 Range Rover Supercharged Revealed
When it comes to luxury SUVs, the Range Rover rules the roost. And now, the best just got better! With a fresh look, new engine and a throng of advanced technology, bosses aim to keep the model’s sizeable nose ahead of the competition for a few years yet.
Crowning the range is a supercharged 5.0-litre V8-powered variant. The engine, co-developed with Jaguar, is already available in the potent XKR and XFR.
Power output has increased to 503bhp – that’s 29 per cent more than in the supercharged Range Rover it replaces – while torque has climbed by 12 per cent to 625Nm. Fuel returns and CO2 emissions have dropped by around seven per cent. That hardly makes the model eco-friendly, but it’s a step forward.

Mr. Norms unveils 426 Hemi Challenger and Hemi Cuda Convertibles
We can't help but think what could have been with the Dodge Challenger. Had Chrysler developed the car before rising gas prices and the economic downturn, we might have seen all sorts of variants. Perhaps a top-of-the-line model with a 426ci Hemi V8 could have challenged the Shelby GT500 as the king of the road. Those in warmer climates surely would have loved a droptop version, and since we're day dreaming, we could even imagine a Hemi Cuda version if Plymouth was still around.
Enter Norm Kraus. The legendary owner of Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago known as "Mr. Norm" has filled in the gaps by Chrysler and unveiled a 426 Hemi Challenger and Cuda Convertible this past weekend at the Chryslers at Carlisle event in Carlisle, PA. Mr. Norm's Garage, now based in Hudson, FL, will be producing a limited run of these convertibles.
Like their coupe siblings unveiled at SEMA show last year, the droptop Challenger and Cuda share styling cues from E-Body ancestors from the early 1970s. The Cuda version is modified with a new grille inspired by the 1971 model year, a shaker hood system, Hemi billboard graphics, straightened rear quarter panels, and '71 Hemi Cuda taillight assemblies. The interior gets custom leather and suede seating, a pistol grip shifter, and custom mats.
