Young Life Video Shoot for Carlyle Commercial

On Sunday afternoon while the LA Lakers were busy winning their 15th championship in that franchise's storied history, we here at Carlyle Motor Club were busy shooting yet another music video/commercial in an effort to make some history of our own. (To Derek Hunt: money never sleeps, it also doesnt take time out to watch basketball games LOL) This time around, we were honored to have Far West Entertainment/Universal Records hip hop recording artist Young Life bless us with an awesome custom Carlyle verse.

The shoot started with a caravan throughout the streets of the San Fernando Valley that included a Mercedes Benz CL63, a Mercedes Benz SL550 AMG, a Lexus GS450, and a BMW 650i. President of Carlyle, Geoff Hull, also brought the Rolls Royce Phantom out just to reaffirm Carlyle Motor Club's place among the elite LA area luxury & exotic car dealerships [Editor's Note] Shout out to our friends at Far West Ent. who we were following, for having the presence of mind to pull over to the side of the road to let the LAPD squad cars that were trailing us go ahead of us and pass us by while we were caravanning. I'm sure they ran our plates and were disappointed to discover all of our cars are clean and in good standing. Haters come in all shapes & sizes. But I digress...

Acclaimed director John Colombo was on his "A" game as he got some awesome driving & performance shots of Young Life doing his thing in & around the BMW 650i Convertible. The 650i ended up being the showpiece of the video. Yes, we closed off an entire street to shoot this video...

All in all it was a great shoot and should end up yielding yet another masterpiece Carlyle commercial. Special thanks to Tasiri from Black Wall Street, Arman from Far West Entertainment, photographer Jorge Peniche, Emil of Emsar Design for putting it all together for us, and of course Young Life.

Stay tuned as we'll be leaking the Young Life Carlyle verse in the next couple days, the behind-the-scenes pictures & footage from the video shoot next week, and of course releasing the Young Life commercial for Carlyle in upcoming months! In the meantime, check out our past commercials from Raekwon, Joe Budden, and Freekey Zekey at www.carlylemotorclub.com

The Search for a Carlyle Spokeswoman Continues...

This past weekend was a busy one for Carlyle as we held auditions for a Carlyle Spokeswoman/Model on Friday night. Auditions were held at Minx Restaurant & Lounge in Glendale, CA. With a bevy of beautiful aspiring models in a gorgeous venue, what more could us car guys ask for on a Friday night?

Hosted by Lil Shawn of 92.7.99.3 The Beat in Phoenix, the auditions were held in an "American Idol"-esque format with 3 celebrity judges that included hip hop recording artist Krondon of the group Strong Arm Steady, wifey of acclaimed music video director John Colombo, Poppy, and lastly Shade 45's Rude Jude.

Each "contestant" was asked a series of tough, car-related questions designed to test their knowledge of luxury & exotic cars. Prospects were judged on their appearance, personality, and ability to maintain composure.

As of this publishing, no ladies have been selected. However, a good time was had by all. Check back frequently to www.carlylemotorclub.com for exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of this jaw-droppingly hilarious audition!
